The press office for the final of the Tall Ships Races 2017 is located on the ground floor of the Voivodship Office at ul. Wały Chrobrego 4, in Szczecin. It is open from 3rd to 8th August 2017 at the following times:
- Thursday (3rd August): 10.00 - 21.00
- Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday (4th-7th August): 09.00 - Midnight
- Tuesday (8th August): 09.00 - 18.00
During the Pyromagic Fireworks Festival 2017 (an event accompanying the sailing ship rally) the press office will be located at the Focus Hotel, at ul. Małopolska 23 in Szczecin. On 11th and 12th August it will be open between 10.00 in the morning and midnight.
The press team, together with the spokesperson for the event, will be present at the press office, ready to provide any information that journalists need. The press office will have workstations connected to the Internet, as well as printers, copiers and scanners for your use. At the office, you will have access to the program for the event, event maps, unit layout charts and other informational materials. There will also be interpreters (DE and EN) available for foreign journalists. Beverages and snacks will be served. Press photographers and cameramen are welcome to use the press boats. Booking a place can be made at the press office.
Press accreditations are available at the accreditation office in the knight's hall (sala rycerska) at the Voivodship Office, at ul. Wały Chrobrego 4, 3rd-7th August from 10.00 to 18.00. Accreditations should be collected personally. Editorial teams who delegate one representative to collect all their ID cards are an exception to the rule. Anyone who did not attach a photo to the form needs to collect their ID cards personally, after having their photo taken in the accreditation office.
NOTE: Due to safety concerns, please include your PESEL number while filling in the form or collecting your ID card
Accreditations allow you to use the regatta press office during the event, participate in press conferences, use the boats for the media and access the media zone located on the terrace overlooking the fountain in Wały Chrobrego. Accreditations do not allow you to drive freely around the premises, to enjoy the attractions offered by the rally nor to board vessels out-of-turn. Separate accreditations will be issued by the event organizer that allow its holders to access the area near the stage during concerts held on the main stage.
VEHICLE ENTRY PERMIT
Vehicle entry permits will be issued only to crews with heavy equipment that cannot be carried into the event area. Permits will also be given to OB vans after having made an appropriate request.
NOTE: All vehicles moving around the event area will be subject to control by the services. Please remember this when planning your work schedule.
