News / Brass orchestras are back in Szczecin
It has become a tradition for Szczecin’s sailing events to be accompanied by the sounds of trumpets, trombones, and saxophones, bringing brass music to the city. This year will once again see the Mayor of Szczecin Cup Brass Orchestra Festival Szczecin (7th edition) as a fringe highlight of The Tall Ships Races 2024.
The Brass Orchestra Festival celebrates music and tradition, bringing together artists from Poland and beyond every year. While the focus is on music, the event is ultimately about providing a platform for people to share their passion and promote the culture and tradition of brass orchestras. This year’s competition will showcase eight brass orchestras. Together, they will play Szczecin’s Trumpet Call, marching along the city’s streets and boulevards.
