Sunday was a real mood swing with sun, rain, thunder, live music bangs, energy, and melancholy. Out of this mix emerged an unforgettable day that ended with a unique concert.

The morning greeted us with a gray, cloudy sky, but it couldn’t stop residents and tourists from abundantly visiting the vessels moored at our friendly docks. There was no shortage of visitors in the Łasztownia zones, as well as enthusiasts of nautical sounds and modern rhythms. 

The weather tried to interrupt our plans by changing every other second. As a result, the brass band parade was canceled, but the main event of the VII Festival of Brass Bands for the Cup of the Mayor of the City of Szczecin, which was the parade drill exhibition, was carried out as planned. We also awarded the winners of the competition, with the Grand Prix going to Młodzieżowa Orkiestra Dęta OSP Krasocin.

Sunday was marked by sports, concerts on stages at Łasztownia, and crazy fun at amusement parks. The avenues and fairs were filled with visitors regardless of the weather, and the roofs and umbrellas at the Food Port were the perfect shelter for enthusiasts of dishes from around the world.

A spontaneous musical surprise was a concert by the crew of the sailing ship Guayas. The Ecuadorians fascinated us with their charisma and invited us to dance and have a good time together. 

Electronic music and dance rhythms ruled over Grodzka Island. However, the biggest crowds were drawn to the Main Stage by artists Ikarus Feel, Mery Spolsky, Smolik/Kev Fox, and most of all Krzysztof Zalewski, who immersed the audience in a sea of sounds and took them on an energetic cruise. 

On Monday, we will be saying goodbye to our wonderful guests. From the early hours, grab some tissues and bid farewell to our sailing friends. Between 9 AM and 12 PM, the traffic on the Oder will be at its heaviest and there will certainly be plenty of emotion. However, we are not saying goodbye, but see you soon.
