The line-up of the first day includes a concert by the Choir of the Maritime University of Szczecin and Ørganek band. It is a project at a top artistic level which fits in very well with the status of the Tall Ships Races finale. The stage will welcome the ambassadors of Szczecin's culture and one of the most popular Polish rock bands of the last decade. The artists had previously a chance to perform together as part of the Choir's project called “Common Sounds” which captivated the public so much that additional concerts had to be organised across Poland.
Mimikyu, the most promising Szczecin-based band, will perform before the stars of the evening as support artists. They emerged by releasing their atmospheric album entitled “Nagrania roku bieżącego” [This Year's Recordings] which they promoted at concerts in Szczecin, Wrocław and Poznań. They merge post punk, synthwave and hip-hop, creating a catchy blend. At present mimikyu are working on their new EP that is due to be released by the end of September. Listen to them before they hit their first million of online views!
