News / We're getting into full swing!
We’ve just finished setting up, assembling, and launching stands, stages, and some of the zones. We are ready to receive the first guests on land, while the nautical ones have been arriving since Tuesday. There are no crowds yet, so it would be a good idea to see what the biggest nautical event in this part of Europe has to offer.
On land, the work is in full swing. Treadway bridges already connect the two banks, carousels are starting to spin, joyful music can be heard from amusement parks, and stalls are stocked with products. On Chrobry Embankment and at the fairs, the first pedestrians can be spotted. The Artists' Alley and the West Pomeranian Flavours Alley await the first visitors. Tasty aromas spread around the Food Truck Zone and the Food Port - perfect for tonight's supper or a late dinner.
On the coast, vessels that have just finished their adventures are mooring in the bay. Sailors are welcomed by liaison officers, residents, and tourists. It would be worth checking out who will be arriving in the next few hours. First encounters in Szczecin are always special for both hosts and guests! Some crews are already inviting newcomers to see their welcoming decks. A great idea would be to begin exploring on Thursday to avoid the queues.
All the sounds, colors, and smells around Wały Chrobrego and Łasztownia signal the big start of the sailing festival! Check out the program and pick something for yourself, or spontaneously head towards the attractions to see what both sides of the Oder have to offer.
